Job Purpose
The Senior Platform Communication Associate plays a key role in ensuring ZDHC platform users are well-informed, engaged, and supported in their use of ZDHC’s platforms. This role proactively communicates new functionalities, coordinates external-facing updates and training, and creates user-centric documentation and engagement materials. The emphasis lies on clarity, accessibility, and driving platform adoption through excellent communication.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
External User Communication & Engagement
Plan, draft, and execute communications on new and upcoming platform functionalities to external audiences via newsletters, platform announcements, and stakeholder updates
Coordinate and host external webinars and platform walk-throughs to onboard users to new features and changes
Maintain and update ZDHC signatories on development timelines to ensure external stakeholders can track platform progress
Develop communication plans for new releases, ensuring clarity and alignment with user needs and expectations
Knowledge & Support Materials
Write and maintain high-quality Knowledge Base articles, how-to guides, release notes, FAQs, and other user documentation in collaboration with platform and development teams
Tailor communication and documentation to suit varying audiences (brands, suppliers, chemical formulators) with varying levels of technical understanding
Support the localisation of materials where necessary, in collaboration with regional teams
Internal Coordination for External Success
Liaise with Product Owners and developers to stay up-to-date on development roadmaps and feature specifications
Coordinate with the Customer Support Team to inform them ahead of platform updates and ensure they are equipped to assist users
Prepare internal briefing materials (slide decks, cheat sheets) to support Customer Support and regional teams in communicating changes to their respective audiences
Platform Communication Strategy
Contribute to platform communication approaches that support user education and improve user experience
Collaborate with the Platform Development team to ensure messaging is aligned, timely, and effective
Handle escalated platform questions, creating tickets for feature requests and coordinating with development teams when needed
Required Skills
Proven experience in technical communication, user documentation, or platform/product communication roles
Excellent writing and editing skills in English, with the ability to translate complex technical content into accessible user-facing messages
Experience managing and facilitating webinars or training sessions for external stakeholders
Strong coordination skills with the ability to manage input from multiple stakeholders and maintain accuracy under deadlines
Comfortable working closely with development teams and understanding software release cycles and feature deployment
Project coordination and change management skills
