Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Management Support to join our Roadmap to Zero Delivery team. As a RtZ Delivery Project Support, you will report to the RtZ Manager and support our project management efforts, assisting in organising, and executing projects within specified deadlines. The Roadmap to Zero Delivery team works with subject-matter-expert (technical managers) of leading industry organisations on the development and updates of ZDHC Guidelines. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in project management while working on real-world projects.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Assist the RtZ Manager in all aspects of project execution, and monitoring.
Assist in updating and maintaining process documentation to ensure accuracy, and consistency across all materials.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements.
Conduct data analysis to support decision-making processes.
Help develop project schedules, timelines, and milestones, ensuring adherence to project deadlines.
Assist in resource allocation and coordination to ensure efficient project execution.
Assist in monitoring project progress, identifying and addressing any deviations from the project plan.
Report on project status, including updates on tasks and milestones, risks, and issues.
Participate in project meetings, document meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
Support the implementation of project management best practices and methodologies.
Assist in maintaining project documentation, including project plans, risk registers, and change logs.
Job requirements
Required Skills
Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, textile, leather, chemistry or a related field.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in using project management tools and software.
Detail-oriented and highly analytical with a problem-solving mindset.
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is a plus.
Prior experience or coursework in project management is desirable but not mandatory.
Preferred Skills
Experienced in project management support, monitoring and tracking KPIs.
Strong in communication (verbal and written), especially in the working language, which is English).
With an eye for details while having the ability to keep an oversight.
Work experience within sustainability, preferably the textile or footwear or chemical industry or a consulting setting.
Open-minded, critical thinking abilities paired with analytical skills and a talent for problem solving.
Possess an entrepreneurial mind-set with a pro-active and keen business sense.
